Four Month Check Up (16 Weeks)

I know it's hard to believe, but I am already four months into this pregnancy. I had my four month check up yesterday and everything seems to be on track. The doctor had a hard time finding #2's heartbeat, but she said that it was due to the position of the placenta. She was able to find it after a few minutes (which I must admit made me very nervous) and it was fast (normal) and strong. I will be having my ultrasound in about four weeks to check for abnormalities and sex determination. Although I am very anxious to find out whether it is a boy or girl and am eligible as early as the 27th of December, I have decided to postpone the ultrasound a short while in hopes of a clearer picture and more accurate reading. Expect new updates and ultrasound pictures around January 9th!
